Ahhh, children of the 80s, remember those lovable secondary video game characters?
Artist Darick Mansen gives us an…interesting piece:
A Koopa Paratroopa Like you’ve never seen before…Scary as it is, the artist has some talent…And yes, you can buy it.
You really can’t make this shit up:
The Ugly Lamp Contest is one of my favorite games to play. Whenever I go out window shopping or antiquing, I always try to find the UGLIEST lamp ever. The game resets every time, so every day is a new adventure in lamp hunting. Today I wish to submit my entry for the Ugly Lamp Contest, the Taxiderpy Edition:
On a recent visit to Mount Saint Helens, we here at Taxiderpy spotted a herd of jackalopes grazing in a giftshop.
While the herd perked up their horns at our approach, we did manage to snap a close-up of an inquisitive one:
Oh Derpus Magus. You disappoint me. Do not call for the Taxiderpy to stop! I say, let it continue in all its horrific glory. For what else are we to do but enjoy it. And to prove my point I offer you this:
Actually for sale on Etsy. Why the seller is so adamant about not shipping to Italy is another question entirely….
Welcome to Taxiderpy.com.
Here, we have a serious mission. Seriously. It’s to share with the world the travesty of bad taxidermy, bad representations of animals, or just plain fugly derpiness, and to draft you to help prevent it.
From the feared 16th century jackelope, to today’s Mounted in Alaska, please, lend a hand, and make it stop.
Make it stop.
Make it stop.
Usually, the mishmash of skin and animal parts we see is a travesty. This, on the other hand, is a pretty amazing sculpture:
Give the artist some love.
